Our Programs

Firewood

We have firewood for those in need to keep warm in the winter. If you have wood to give and/or would like to help with this important service, please contact Dennis through our

"Contact Us" page.

Bottles and Cans

Collecting bottles and cans that have a return value is an ongoing project. These cans/bottles are bagged with help from the community,  then are taken to Oregon Bottle Drop. All monies go directly to The Dayton Food Bank to purchase food.

If you would like to help, contact Nadine through the "Contact Us" page and she can give you a non-profit blue bag to fill with your recycle cans/bottles. We will be happy to pick up when full.

Bottles and Cans

As we delivered bottles and cans to Oregon Bottle Drop, a young lady asked if there was anyway she could donate her future cans/bottles to our Food Pantry. We gave her some blue bags, with our USB code on them, to return to any Oregon Bottle Drop facility.
Now, even though she lives in another City, she can contribute to help others in Dayton!
What an amazing gesture on her part!
Our bottle/can drive provides 50% of our yearly budget.
If you would like to help in this way, Nadine can be reached by phone or text at (503) 522-1133.

Clothes Collection

Clothing is collected from the St Pauly shed at the Food Bank parking lot and then sorted into 3 categories.

1) Exceptional clothing is consigned to New to You. All monies go directly to the Food Bank to purchase food.

2) Clothing for the Clothes Closet is cleaned, ironed and hung in the Clothes Closet. It is free to anyone in need.

If you would like to volunteer in this area, just contact Nadine through the "Contact Us" page.
